Yugoslavia, February 16, 1984: Bill Johnson of
the U.S. soars through the air on the way to a gold medal in the downhill at
the Olympic Games. Johnson raised a few eyebrows when he said he'd win the
event, in which Swiss skiers were favored, but he came through in a way
reminiscent of Joe Namath's Super Bowl prediction.
