Heidelberg, Germany, August 20, 1979: After a two-week, 4,560-mile journey with three other Chinook CH-37 helicopters from Fort Carson, Colorado, to Heidelberg, one of the choppers lifts a rocket and launcher over the autobahn and the Neckar River in a show of deployment capability.
