Germany, January 8, 1977: Austria's Franz Klammer is surrounded
by fans during the Kandahar ski races. Klammer was in the middle of a string of
10 consecutive downhill wins when he won the Kandahar event. In addition to
winning the 1976 Olympic gold medal, he finished first in 25 World Cup races
during his career.
