Ankara, Turkey, October 1, 1957:
Don Ghornton's attempt at bronco busting ended only three seconds after it
began during a Wild West rodeo staged by the U.S. Logistic Group (TUSLOG). The
rodeo itself was much more successful than Ghornton's ride, drawing more than
10,000 cheering Turks and Americans to a huge arena built by U.S. personnel for
the occasion.
